Two major congratulations in order for two PsyKO Gear fighters.

On Feb 24th 2007, Chad "Savage" George won the Total Fighting Alliance Bantam Weight Title at the Santa Monica Civic Center.  The show was another incredible night of fights with a sold out crowd.  The Civic Center was the perfect venue, not only for the TFA, but for Chad to take the title, as Savage lives and fights out of Santa Monica.

PsyKO Gear, as always, was there to be a part of the show. PsyKO Gear is also the official GLOVE sponsor of the TFA. If a punch was thrown that night, a PsyKO imprint was left!  For Chad, this was a sweet victory, because, his opponent, Todd Guimond, is the only man to beat Chad in MMA. The two fought for the title in November and Chad lost at the 1st round bell to a rear naked choke. This time, however, Chad secured his own RNC, at 1:40 of the first round.  He looked composed and confident, and seems to have really grown as a fighter.  He made PsyKO Gear and his team, Fight Science very proud!

Now stay tuned, as not only may Savage be defendinghis title in a rubber match against Guimond in April, but another PsyKO Gear fighter will be looking to take home the gold, as Julian Rush will be fighting for the Heavyweight Belt, April 28th. TFA 6 will be held again at the Santa Monica Civic Center and will once again be a great night of fights. On April 29th, the PsyKO Ward is expecting to have TWO world champion fighters sporting the gear!
